As of this moment I would NOT recommend Secard Pools to ANYONE!! I purchased a brand new pool just this passed Friday evening, I set up the pool with my wife Sunday after hours of raking the area, grading and getting everything perfect. Everything was going beautiful until the water got about 24" high. We noticed a small hole in the base of the liner and right away tried to patch the hole. It didn't work. I am not the person who is used to write reviews but my experience with this company is awful. First of all, when they try to offer a service they are nice, but after signing the agreement and paying the fee you are nothing for them. We agreed on March on 2014 to replace my liner they told me in less than two months would be fixed even is specified in the agreement. However, they replaced the liner almost 4 months later and in less than a month the pool started with wrinkles. I wrote and email with the pictures on July/2014 to Brian Anderson... Read more

I purchased a pool and gazebo and my pool supplies from this store (spent over $8,000 with them and have all the receipts as proof). Two years after purchasing a new pool motor from them, the motor and filtration system stopped working. I asked Steve Wade, the salesman, if he would look at it to see what was wrong and he told me to drop it off at the store. I wrote a complaint regarding a signed contract not being honored and not being told that the company would not accept a personal check when pool was being competed. I received a call from Bobby this morning, he was very understanding of our situation and offererd to make things better. What was offered was very gracious and appriciated. He also stated that they would address my issues that we had and understood how we felt. Bobby was very pleasant to speak with and did care about customer satisfaction. Placed order to have pool liner replaced on 3/14/12. pool liner installed on 5/3/12. (Friday) Over the 35 days stated in contract from Secard. Contractor came out on 5/7/12 to complete pool liner. (Monday) Contractor would not accept personal check (we were not told about his prior to this date) Had to put balance on a credit card for them to complete the job! We paid $875.00 when we signed contract, offered check to them on 5/3/12, employee said for us to pay when instalation was completed. Pool is still not completed. wating for sun guards... Read more

As the Operations Manager for a company that has been in business since 1958, it is my duty to ensure that we are providing high quality products and excellent customer service. It is upsetting to me as Operations Manager and to Secard Pools to have unsatisfied customers and unresolved complaints. Until recently we were unaware of these complaints but would appreciate an opportunity to make it right if you'll allow it. I had similar problems as all of the other complaints with my Secard Islander. Who ever thought of wood and water together is in my opinion an ***. They measured our liner way too small and it tore after 2 years. Of course there were dents everywhere before we even got in the pool. There was no way in he** we were going back to them. We went to Aquapride pools and they fixed all of our problems. We were told that liners should last 8-10 years with the thicker liner they installed. Have dealt with Secard for many years when it come down to pumps, pool decks and supplies. Some people are never happy they have great staff who know what they are talking about and will not steer you in the wrong direction at least this is true at the Montclair store. So just because a few people have a bad experience don't count the company out. I have dealt with many other companies that do pool install's and sales and you what to talk about joke well trust me Secard doesn't have even close to the problems. Read more

I have been a customer of Secard for more than 20 years. I buy above ground pool liners because I can't afford inground. They used to make a good liner that lasted for about ten years. The last liner I bought lasted two years. They refused to honor the warranty that was supposed to be 10 years on the seams. They don't even answer phone calls or emails. Their price for a liner with an expandable bottom is the best I can find, even beating the internet so I'm stuck. Be careful. If you buy liners from them, be aware that they... Read more

The steps of the ladder for the Islander pool are very shallow and high off the bottom of the pool. My two-year old grandaughter slipped off the top step and slid down between the ladder and the pool wall. Fortunately, I caught her before her face hit the water. I was afraid she would wedge behind the ladder. The ladder is difficult for older people to use since the steps are so high. Does anyone have an alternative ladder for this pool or suggestions?
